Data indicate that the vast majority of people (fitness app Strava puts it at 80%) who resolve to eat more healthfully in the new year give up by the end of the second week. It seems like most chains have gotten that memo.
Checkers & Rally’s have introduced new burgers, Pizza is embracing jalapeño poppers, and Hardee’s is going with maple biscuits. Peter Piper Pizza is expanding its dessert menu, Perkins is transforming pie flavors into doughnuts, Krispy Kreme is doing the same with Pop-Tarts, and Jimmy John’s is offering a hearty 6-ounce portion.
Friendly’s, as expected, has a fresh Conehead Sundae. Ice Cream has more sundaes, and Paris Baguette continues to roll out pastries.
